Taxmatic is built to be embedded so adding TAX to your platform has never been easier.
You can be up and running after 4 simple steps.

1. Sync Clients

The first step in the integration is sending Taxmatic very basic details about your merchants. This is just the name and a reference that you can store and use for subsequent calls. Once you have synced a Merchant you can generate Access Tokens for that merchant by passing their id.

2. Display TAX Registration

Use the Access Token created above to display the Tax Registration component. You can continue to display the Tax Registration component even after a company has registered as this will just show a success message.

3. Sync Order Data

You can choose to send data to Taxmatic in real time time (as each order comes in) or in bulk at set intervals, i.e. every 30 minutes or every day. Taxmatic will process and file these transactions accordingly.

4. Display Components

Once data for your merchants is being synced your can start displaying other components based on your criteria. For example if you wish for your merchants to see their filings you can display the Filings components in your websites. You can display the components wherever you wish and style/brand them so they match your brand.

One average most of our partners are able to get up and running within 5 to 6 weeks. This includes Dev / QA reviews and feedback sessions.

If your platform already supports Syncing Order Data with 3rd Parties this can reduce the timeline even further.

Yes! In fact our Embedded Solution is platform agnostic. Your platform sends the data to Taxmatic and the data itself can come from anywhere. This is very flexible as it means that 100% of your data/merchants are supported without any comprimises. You can choose to send the data in realtime (i.e. as each order is processed) or send. the data in bulk. We typically recommend batching orders every few hours so as not to increase load on your servers. Once the data is sent to Taxmatic our solution will process and file the orders, the result of which can be viewed via the Embedded Components.

Yes! By default we store all order data within the EU, during onboarding if you have a special use case we can modify/adjust this as needed.

Not only are we GDPR compliant, we also comply with all the relevant TAX law. We ensure that all of your merchants are correctly registered / assigned TAX Numbers.

While this sounds simple most competitor offerings skip this step as it is far easier to group all order data under a set list of TAX Numbers, while easier this is grossly negligent / non compliant and something we do not recommend.
